WEDDING
CELEBRATIONS

Imagine a wedding at Dun Aluinn…

This handsome historic house in the Highlands is the perfect location for an intimate celebration with your closest family and friends. Surrounded by five and a half acres of mature gardens and grounds, with sweeping views down the glen, it’s a magical setting for the ceremony and celebrations.

From the moment guests arrive at the grand front door, the atmosphere is one of glamour and opulence. Greeted by the butler guests are whisked up the magnificent staircase to their quarters in one of the nine ensuite bedrooms – some with freestanding tubs, one its own steam room - or one of the four cool, contemporary bedrooms in The Lodge.

All the rooms are individually designed, beds made with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen with pampering bathrobes from Harper London for padding around the house. The butler, as well as overseeing daily morning housekeeping and an evening turndown service, tends to all your needs – and, on the day, can even act as a Master of Ceremonies.

Dun Aluinn and The Lodge are exclusively yours during your stay. Curl up in front of the fire in the sitting room or relax on the terrace around the fire pit, wrapped in one of the cosy throws.  Or head into the woods beside the house where you’ll find a natural cedar wood-fired hot tub imported from Finland, hidden in the trees. The perfect spot to relax before the big day, perhaps with a glass of champagne…

THE BIG DAY

Our neighbours Ballintaggart Farm will lay on a sumptuous wedding feast including drinks and canapés, their mouthwatering menus created with locally sourced, seasonal produce, all tailored to guests’ requirements. The bespoke hand-crafted dining table, exquisitely laid, can seat up to 26 guests, with dancing and music in the sitting room. Or if the weather is balmy, take the celebrations outside onto the terrace, where a candlelit dinner can also be held.
