Imagine a wedding at Dun Aluinn…
The main house, Dun Aluinn (9 ensuite bedrooms), and The Lodge (4 ensuite bedrooms) can be rented for a minimum of three nights. In the main house two of the bedrooms feature free-standing tubs while one has a bathroom with its own steam room. All have superior Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels, and bathrobes from Harper London.
The exclusive-use property has butler service as standard, along with daily morning housekeeping and an evening turndown service. Our Butler can also oversee small intimate weddings and, on the day, act as a Master of Ceremonies.
The main house at Dun Aluinn and The Lodge can be utilized throughout the day. The wedding ceremony can take place on the Terrace with stunning views, or if the weather turns, it can be held in the sitting room at Dun Aluinn. The drinks reception can be held on the lawn, or if the weather turns unfavorable, it can be hosted at Dun Aluinn or on the porch at The Lodge (which is covered). The wedding reception dinner can accommodate up to 26 guests in the lounge/dining room, with dancing and music arrangements set up in the sitting room.
The table setting includes beautiful cutlery and crockery along with the finest glassware. There's an option to dine outside on the terrace if the weather is suitable.
CATERING
Drinks, canapés, and the wedding reception are all fully catered by Ballintaggart Farm, offering locally sourced seasonal produce served with real passion, all tailored to guests’ requirements.
The estate spans 5.5 acres, featuring mature gardens around the house, with the remainder of the land dedicated to nature for re-wilding purposes.
There's a fire pit on the Terrace, along with lovely outside seating and throws for added comfort.
Additionally, guests can enjoy a wood-fired natural cedar Hot Tub nestled in the woods beside the house. Imported from Finland, it's large enough for 6-6 guests and serves as a perfect spot to relax before the big day!
